Myth 1: Ceramic coating stops water spots from forming.
Although ceramic coatings help water bead up and roll off, minerals in hard water can still dry on the surface, leaving behind spots if not wiped away.
Myth 2: Ceramic coating instantly gives a flawless, mirror-like shine.
Ceramic coating enhances gloss but won’t fix scratches or swirl marks. Proper surface prep, like polishing, is needed for a mirror-like finish before applying the coating. Curing time also matters; it takes hours to days for the coating to harden and fully perform optimally.
Myth 3: Ceramic coating hides deep scratches and swirl marks.
Ceramic coating does not conceal or fix existing paint defects. It creates a glossy, protective layer but remains transparent, meaning imperfections will still be visible. Paint correction is necessary before application for the best finish.
Myth 4: Ceramic coating can be washed off with strong soap.
Regular washing won’t remove ceramic coating. It requires polishing or specialized chemical strippers for complete removal, as the coating bonds tightly to the paint.

Ceramic coating is a liquid polymer that hardens over a surface creating a film to protect the area.
- A Hydrophobic surface allows the protected area to have less surface tension meaning it will repel dirt and water extremely fast from the surface.
- Gloss and extremely slick paint. We are certified with many different coatings and have tried it all. This factor is extremely important to us and we want to feel and see the coating showing off its goodness for years.
- Harder than factory clear coat. Standard factory clear coat is rated at 4h hardness that’s why it scratches easily. When Your Car Gets coated, our ceramic is rated at 9-10h that’s more than double the strength. It’s not bulletproofed but the benefit alone is piece of mind.
All Coatings require proper preparation before installation, the prices above will include a chemical strip wash, chemical & mechanical decontamination and IPA Prep wipe down.
